Close up of Speckled Dune Low Bowls—a slightly drier/pigmented version of my Speckled White glaze ✨
Haven’t made pour overs with handles for a few years...maybe it’s time to bring it back?
I wanted to give a shout out to Geana at @gdsclothgoods & @ebbfilter because she makes these amazing reusable filters that I think you should know about. They are made from organically grown cotton from Texas, milled in South Carolina and manufactured in my hometown of Oakland, CA. Best of all, they can be used in conjunction with my pour overs!
Sets coming soon....
Glad to hear that both Democrats and Republicans are coming together to speak out against today’s unsettling events and this dark moment in history. The last thing we need now is more division.
✨fresh start feelings
We still need to put in some fillers, toe kicks, trim and backsplash but it’s nice to see the project coming along! Swipe to see what it looked like before...
Did it ever cross anyone else’s mind that trampolining in the comfort of your own home could be the next radical new way to make your fitness dreams come true? Did you then start dreaming about becoming so strong you could lift a 50lb box of clay and bring it all the way down to the basement without breaking a sweat? Well for me that bubble burst last night when I woke up in excruciating back pain. Turns out trampolining is not the hottest new exercise trend because it can really mess up your back. It’s back to the treadmill for me 😭
Out with the old, in with the new!
Gonna be making these all week starting Monday but today I’m installing the kitchen floor because I finally feel rested enough to get back to house renovations. Yay me!
Happy New Year!!
Rented a camper van and headed northwest to where the redwoods meet the sea.
Handle close up ✨
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Just came back from a walk in Old Town with the pup, the kitchen smells amazing from the mushroom lasagna I’m making, and I only spent 10 minutes at the studio! It’s a really great day 😊

Coffee pour over kind of morning ✨
I’m all about celebrating the imperfections at the heart of handmade objects like this raw clay tumbler with a juicy little lip of clear glaze.
I must confess I love pulling handles
I have a small batch of low bowls fresh out of the kiln and ready to purchase. It will be my very last batch of 2020. Time for me to look towards the future and wrestle with what new ideas to bring to fruition in 2021!
Speckled white mugs mastering the art of cozy
Surprise surprise! I will have a limited batch of low bowls coming out of the kiln Saturday morning. This will for sure be the last batch I make before I take a nice long break for the holidays so if you don’t want to wait until mid-January, be sure to grab one this weekend.
Still got a few dark grey mugs ready to find new homes!
Thanks for being so patient! Mugs are coming out of the kiln today.
Proud of the work I’ve been able to pump out over the last few months! I’ve up’d my output this year and have made more pottery than I could ever have imagined. That said, there’s a limit to how much I can make and how much by body can handle. I’m itchin for a break so I can rest up and dream about all the new things to come in 2021.

I have a small amount of earthen coffee pour overs available. Might just be the perfect gift for that special coffee lover in your life.
About to go into the studio to make more of these ✨
This Saturday—December 5th— is the last day to place an order for speckled white mugs and bowls! After that you’ll have to wait until 2021 because I need to give myself a little break. Thank you guys so much for all your support this holiday season and for keeping me busy!
Been busy at the studio cranking out work! Hope everyone in these hectic times has a chance to find a moment to just be ✨
