NEW REVIEW! Are you passionate about the water crisis happening in the world? Well, author @treyeverett's book is inspired by that very crisis. And his main character Micah has a solution to the lack of fresh water for some of the struggling nations in the world. Except he needs funding. When a fundraiser doesn't go as planned, he feels like all hope is lost. Until his financier of his project tells him he will fund the whole thing as long as Micah (and a small team) can bring back something at the bottom of the Pacific. But what's at the bottom isn't something Micah will ever want to bring back. This is an exciting thriller that I absolutely recommend! NEW REVIEW! Today on my blog, I reviewed #TheCoupleUpstairs by @shaboland. What an unbelievable mystery. It all starts when Nina and Zac move into their beautiful new home. Things go downhill FAST from there. Who's causing all of these problems? Who is ruining everything they worked so hard for? Nina insists it's Chris, their neighbor living above, but her boyfriend Zach doesn't believe her. What will she do? This is a thriller that grabbed me and didn't let me go. What word flub-ups took you years to figure out? Sadly, I only realized these were two separate words recently. Luckily, I don't use either word all that commonly.
Movie sequel debate! What movie sequel do you prefer over the first one? Mine: When a Stranger Calls Back: It's a sequel to When a Stranger Calls, and it starts Jill Schoelen (who starred in the movie The Stepfather, which is AMAZING btw). Well, she's the star in the movie, and Carol Kane (who was the star in the first) appears later. Well, the beginning is everything in this movie, and it's so creepy. You really feel how isolated Jill's character is. She plays a babysitter getting bothered by a man at the door who insists he needs to use her phone (btw, this was in 1993, so pre-internet and cell phone days). Well, it escalates when he won't go away and her phone line is cut. Very very spooky movie that is so far superior from the first. Terminator 2. Okay this one goes without saying I feel, but seriously, this was an excellent sequel. And I love Linda Hamilton in this movie. What movie (or book!) sequels do you like better than the original? #movies #movienight #moviestowatch #movielover #moviebuff #movierecommendation #movierecommendations #moviesequels #mondayvibes #movieinstagram #moviefan
What books did you enjoy growing up? One of mine were fantasy! I captured a few of my favorites here. First up, Redwall series by Brian Jacques. A charming series of little animal characters fighting against battles and protecting their families. I tried reading this again a few years ago and it wasn't quite the same. Next up Terry Goodkind's Magic Kingdom for Sale. It's basically a guy who purchases a magic kingdom! Now this I read again as an adult and this WAS as enjoyable as before. Last to mention, Wheel of Time series. Epic!! I loved it growing up. I haven't yet tried re-reading it but I loved it throughout my teens. Have you read any of these? What were your favorites that you read growing up?

Ha! I couldn't resist sharing this. Lately I only notice my autocorrect errors like two to three days AFTER I leave a comment on someone's page. Whoops! Anyone else have this trouble?
How do you get back into a writing grove? Today, on @wow_womenonwriting I talk about rebuilding my writing habit. For a variety of reasons, I've been away from writing, even submitting. I finally am regaining my ground with writing, revising and submitting, but it's hard. What methods do you use to rebuilding writing habits? Thank you to @teabookshappy for tagging me in the #LastNowNext challenge! Last: Don't Look For Me by Wendy Walker 4/5 for me on this one! A thriller about a woman going missing, and everyone but her daughter thinks she walked away from her life. Definitely recommend! Now: Run by Blake Crouch. I haven't read any of his thriller books but I did read Dark Matter and LOVED that one, so I'm hoping I love this one just as much. Next: Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell. I have read Lisa Jewell before and love her thrillers, so I can't wait to see how this one turns out. I've tagged a few people but if you've seen this, consider yourself tagged.
