A pastel princess face shield. 🎀👸❤️
Going to have to make these without the hooks. I am still getting used to my new schedule so it has been difficult figuring out what to get done on which days. So many creating to do, so little time. 🌼🍄🌸
My mom’s friend asked for a princess face shield and a unicorn one for her daughter. So I came up with my own whimsical version. Comes in teal, pink, and lavender. 👸🎀👑❤️ Also good for protecting your eyes when cutting onion. 😜😭🧅
Thinking of painting some tea cups to go with this teapot. Sometimes it takes me some time to think of a design, but usually all good things do take time! 🍵🌼☕️🌸🫖🍪🍩🥐
Kitchen hack: use your face shield to avoid crying when you are cutting onions, lol. 🧅 I was doing just this on Sunday and decided to use my face shield to see if it prevents your eyes from watering. It actually works, you guys! I could still feel the onion effect a tiny bit and could still smell it, but it protected me from the usual onion exposure, lol. 😎 I was able to cut an onion without the waterworks. Will definitely use my face shield again in the future just for this. 🥒🌶🫑🍅
My own sunshine on cold, gloomy days. 🌷🌼🌸
A cute little wintery owl. Another magical element for an enchanting winter forest. Practicing the different brushes on procreate...🌳🦉❤️🌲
Been given more responsibilities at work and filling in where it is needed. Yea, I work a part time job as well. I made this little illustration because my boss’s young cousin has been coming in to help. 💗 I was feeling overwhelmed, like I had to do everything, but he picked up half of what needed to be done and so I am super grateful for that kid. I had such a good day when he stepped in to help and relieved all the weight I was carrying on my shoulders. ❤️ I find that it really is the simple things that bring me the most joy. That alone made my weekend, and I wanted to just express that. 💕
This is my winter deer. There is something magical about them when you see them in the quietness of nature. They know what it is to be still. 🌲🦌🌳
I realized that I ended up doing this date for today, which is actually the 8th, whooops! My mistake! 😆😅 Instead, I hope it manifests my intention for good things to come since 7 is a lucky number. May today and the next coming days bring positivity, understanding, and prosperity.
From my adventures in painting items last year-my face mask holder clip/comb and my little tea pot. ☕️💕
Got into creating more digital illustrations this weekend. There is still a lot to learn along the way and I decided to do some calendar numbers. 💗 January 5th is my niece’s birthday so I definitely thought of her when I created this. It’s kind of nice that I hopped on this digital-illustrating-horse as soon as the new year began. Sometimes you just have to get into it rather than waiting for inspiration or motivation to kick in. 🌈 I’m hoping to do more of these and get better and better as the days go on. I would love to someday sell printable stuff! I think it’s such a cool and accessible idea. ❤️
Keeping my little place of the world colorful and blooming with flowers.
Today is NYE and I wish I didn’t have to go to work and had another long weekend like I did for Christmas. It all went by too fast, tbh! Lol, I did NOT want to go back. Alas, I am back in the grind. 💗 I think 2020 (along with most people) was bizarre, crazy, and unprecedented. It pushed many of us to our limits and forced us to look at the things that needed fixing. There were definitely many lessons to learn (as challenging times can be the best teacher of life) and realizing the many things that we take for granted-things, people, our animal friends/family, and fortunate circumstances-are what adds to the goodness and wholesomeness to our lives. ❤️ After going through this 12-month cycle, we see things and the coming new year in a very different view than we ever have before. I will be easing into 2021 with an open mind and appreciating the simple things in life that are a blessing to us because none of us know what will unravel ahead. 💝 Wishing you all good vibes, comfort, and a Happy New Year’s Eve! Enjoy your holiday, everyone! 🥂🍾🎇🎆 🌼🍄🌸
Drew florals on this glass cloche pendant with my Molotow paint pens. Any ideas as to what to put inside it? 🤔🌸🌹🌷🧐
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Merry Christmas to all! My family celebrates on Christmas Eve so today is our Christmas! We open gifts at midnight so that it the magic hour! I am also very happy that I have today off. When you have been working so much, a day off or a long weekend is like a vacation. Going to fill up my creature comfort basket to the brim. Enjoy your Christmas Eve, everyone! 🕰🔖🎁✨🎄🍄🛍🎅🏻
Catching up on Christmas here. Been busy with work and I finally am catching up with gift wrapping and such. Not yet finished, but I am cranking out some packaging that I can be proud of! 🎁🎄🛍🍄 Don’t you just love it when you are able to re-invent or repurpose items you already have lying around the house into cute gift wrapping? 💗 Please excuse the other photos as this has nothing to do with my illustrations or art, but I do think it’s nice to see where a person is at in life every now and then. This has been a point where I have barely found any time to do art, but through small digital illustrations, crafting, and DIY, I am able to keep my creative and playful mind in the stream. I have been loving not having a restriction on what to make and how. 🎨 We all need to be able to play and not make life only about work. Being creative-to me-is the adult way to play. Creativity strives in playful mental states. Let go and have fun, even if it’s just for a couple hours or shorter.
This has been a warm December for the most part. This week has brought on more of that Winter-type of cold we know, but I keep playing around with florals. I had to remind myself once again that Christmas is just right around the corner. It going to be crunch time with gifts if you are not done with it yet, like I am. Whooops! Here’s to some good vibes for all of us who need it! ✨🛍🌸🎄🎁🍄
Bf got these for me for my birthday. He was hoping that they would see some good action. When orders started coming in, they were my go to brushes in creating opaque and smoother colors onto the face shields. So many more adventures to come with these useful tools. 🎨👩🎨🖼
Playing around with pieces of laminated flower paintings...Goal is to make stickers with these someday and have some fun with it! 🌸🍄🌼
Wishing you all a colorful holiday! 🎄💗🎄
Throw back to when I made this lion face shield for a customer’s baby who was celebrating his 1st birthday. The design came out to be so cute! I am happy that she was really satisfied with it. Awesome feedback from buyers makes it all worth it. 🦁💕
I have been meaning to do some digital work and play around with my Cricut to make some pretty things, but it seems everything is popping up right now. Gonna have to get a move on with Christmas gifts as well. 🎁🛍🎄🥛🍪 I wanted to be ahead of the schedule. Alas, the year has caught up to me! How do you get your Christmas shopping done? Would you diy a gift?
I was excited about what a paint pen could do with the one acrylic box I started out with that I later went and did more designs on more items. I was playing around with the color combos and seeing what could be done with it-and here are the little things I made out of creativity-whoops!✨🎀✂️🎨👩🎨
Curious to see what this holiday season will be like. I am doing my best to do some festive things like putting on Christmas movies when I can and getting into the spirit of things. Nothing crazy has happened in my life or anything, but it feels like a bizarre, different vibe these days. 🎄 Between working more, moving, and being busy in general, it is easy to rush through days until you realize it’s already Christmas and the holidays have just flown by. What are some of your favorite things to do leading up to your holiday? 🤔💗🎁🎀☕️🍵
My first painted teapot. I want to use it soon, but I want to add more details. Hoping to add the details before I move!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! There has been so much going on for me right now that I completely forgot to wish everyone a good holiday. It has been kind of a crazy and busy week. Also, have a happy Friday! 💗
I have always loved colorful art, but some people may associate bright, happy colors with things meant for kids. When I look all over social media and at other artists’ and illustrators’ art, it is littered with beautiful colors and textures. Most of the time, the subject would be flowers. 🌼 I find that florals are a great way for grown adults to be able to indulge in colors-whether it’s on art, fabric, cell phone covers, paper goods, or fashion. One can never have enough lovely colors and florals imo!
I was inspired by vintage colors for these unicorn face shields. I also wanted to create something with Fall-Autumn tones. 🍂🍄🌳🍁
Remembering this fountain pen present from @94feetcw at around Christmas of 2013. It’s been a while since I did some actual illustrating. I have kind of been a bad artist/illustrator because life has gotten so busy. 🖌 I thought about focusing on learning how to illustrate digitally and I have had a couple of cute ideas in mind, but now I will have to move in about 3 months. It’s nothing bad, but my friend has decided not to keep his townhouse so we cannot rent it anymore. ✂️ I am rather excited for this new change, albeit that it can be a stressful process, as most change can be. So what I have been doing as of late is lugging my smaller stuff-batch by batch-to my bf’s house. I am also feeling rather impatient about the renovating and remodeling of his house. 🎨 Just feeling impatient because I want to go ahead and learn all that I need to know to make some cute stickers and other things. I do love creating in general, but with so many ideas floating around in my head, I just want to snap my fingers and make those a reality. I can’t wait till they do. Just an update on life lately and what I have been up to. Happy Tuesday, all! 🌼
A carousel of vintage-fall-colored unicorn face shields. 🎠💕🦄
Having a bit of summery autumn here, like a sequel to summer... 🎨🌞🖌💕👩🎨
Made this as a commission for my mom’s friend in Texas. Now they come on 3 different colors-lavender, mint green, and pink. For all the princesses in your life. Comes in adult and children’s sizes! 👸💕👑
“I must have flowers, always and always.”-Claude Monet 🌼🌸🌻
Painted this small Acrylic box with paint pens/markers. I got happy once I knew what they could do. So I practiced on this little box. So cute! 🎁🌼🌸
These were made to hold face mask elastics to give your ears a break from the constant pull, but my hair comb hair accessories can be made without the hooks as well. 🌻🌸🍄🌼
First puppy type of face shield I made. It was for my niece. Making face shields for people have given me ideas on what designs to make, as they request something different. 🐶💕 Hahah you can see that since it was a prototype, I didn’t realize to completely paint in a more opaque layer of the brown all over. As time goes on, you get better and better at making things when you make them numerous times. Swipe right for a more recent version.
